“First Chair” is a chair combining 3 manufacturing approaches.

 

It was all  about combining and choreographing lines and shapes inspired by floating leafs and classic school chair characteristics to create a light and elegant, creature-like chair.  

 

By making a wood lamination mold, using metal bending, welding and laser-cut industrial felt.

 

To experiment with 3 different manufacturing methods and materials and combining them with a new approach to a classic design aesthetics
